![]() ![]() I bought the bundle with Avernum 4-6 on sale, but I understand that Jeff is updating Avernum 2 and possibly 3 as well. I am now playing Avernum, Escape from the Pit along with GF 3-I started it to just "see what it was like", and now I can't seem to quit AEFTP is apparently an updated Avernum 1. I bought the bundle intending to play GF 5 and maybe circle back and play the earlier games later, but someone on the forums suggested playing them in order to maximize appreciation of the story and the little improvements to the interface, etc. Now, thanks to Matt P (his walkthrough), I have finished both and am working on GF 3. New escape games are added daily as long as our team finds them good enough for you. Due to this growing demand, World Escape Games offers you the opportunity to play the best escape games available for free. I had played GF 1 and 2 years ago when they were fairly new, but never finished them. Real escape games are gaining popularity these days. I feel like I'm late to the party about Spiderweb Software, I wish I'd found these games sooner! Also I'm a huge fan of Phil Foglio and I was super surprised to see his work in the screenshots. Anyway after having just beaten Geneforge 5 I notice this goes on sale and I bought it instantly. The story was amazing! Like you said, it brought back memories of Baldur's Gate for me too with the writing. Put over 100 hours into my first playthrough being thorough with quests and whatnot. I decided to just start with Geneforge 5. Steam does bring all kinds of RPG's into one place where you can purchase them, where anywhere else they sell PC software there is just no selection of RPG's to choose from, and the sales on Steam are great money savers on great games.Enjoy, can't wait for what Spiderweb Software has next to offer.Īlistor님이 먼저 게시:I picked up the Geneforge bundle not too long ago and that was my introduction to Spiderweb Software. Spiderweb Software RPG's just have such great story telling like Baldur's Gate, Fallout. Like most RPG's it's learning how to play the game the way the Developers have designed it, you learn to adjust to get through the challenges the Developers have put into the game. I liked Divine Divinity, and Sacred both great games, also Dungeon Siege. Baldur's Gate 2 was better, still a survival challenge. Baldur's gate you die very often until you start to level, you use Inns to heal yourself. Baldur's gate combat is more reaction survival, where with turn base you have option to plan your attack. I like the turn base combat in these games even more then the Baldur's Gate which you rely more on the space bar to pause game.the combat seems more balanced in Spiderweb software rpg's. ![]()
